This very well might be the cleanest E30 I've seen for sale for under $5k.
180,000 miles
5-Speed manual
Blue cloth interior with what looks like no rips or tears, and no dash cracks

Shit, I wish I had room/money for another car.

You've got a Datsun already, leave some enthusiast classics for the rest of us!
(I say this only because I really, really, really want this.)

Better idea:
Beg grandmother for the $3,000 she's giving me when I turn 18 now.
Beg parents for the other $1,000, or $500 if I can talk him down.

I need to try to, I really do.
I've already let one E30 slip through my fingers, not another one too!

Better Idea:
My cousin makes $85 hourly on the computer. She has been fired from work for ten months but last month her paycheck was $15800 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read more about it here :

Kidding. I think your plan is great!

Funny, I didn't look at the price at first and I thought, "This is a $4k car."
Seat has a rip. Easy fix. Dash looks great. Would want to know the mileage when the belt was done.
All said, this is a good buy. Someone go get it, I don't have room or cash for it right now (just dumped a grand last week in my Mazda).

That thing is in great shape. I just picked up an '84 325e 5 speed. Mine only cost $1,200, but the paint and interior is in worse shape. Mine does have the LSD and sports seats though.

"e" models are carbureted, right?

No, they just had the ETA engine which was the fuel economy version. It's a 2.7L and only makes 120hp, but makes 170 lb.-ft. of torque. They were the only E30s imported into the US for the first two years.

Didn't even know that was a thing. Interesting!

Blue cloth interior with what looks like no rips or tears
Driver seat is ripped/torn. All cloth-E30 seats do with that kind of mileage, that why the seatcover is there.
Otherwise nice find. Now go over there and buy it!
